Close encounters of the first kind...

Postby Omag 2.0 » Tue Dec 07, 2004 3:26 pm

... And so we thought it was going to be a routine flight today...

My name is Jaques, pilot for the French Gendarmerie. Ever since that horrible test gone wrong at the airport, where security "lost" 2 packages of plastic explosives, things are quite tense around here. So we patrol the area around airports frequently.

Today we were assigned to patrol the Bourget area...

Things look so peacefull at early morning...

Image

Suddenly my copilot asked me if a knew what those strange lights were, high up... I had no idea... But there were alot!

Image

They were moving... fast... so in a split second i decided to follow there tracks... My god! they are decending!

Image

Good Lord! Were passing Le Bourget, but they are going straith for Charles-de-Gaule! My co-pilot frantically tried to contact there tower...

Image

What are these things? They are dammned fast! Christ! Static on all radio's...

Image

As we reached the outer limits of Charles-de-Gaulles we got ever so close to the lights, but still no clear visual ID! Wham! They shot away, straight up....

Image

That was the last thing we saw of them! Luckely normal traffic wasn't to affected! Perhaps some captains in shock!

Image

We kept on searching the area on clues of what had happend, but we never found any evidence...

Image

Peace was restored, but i still have a eary feeling about the whole experience...

They come for the chocolate chip cookies.  Though we are a violent, barbaric, and hypocritical race, nobody in the galaxy makes better chocolate chip cookies! ;D ;D
