Just got it and MAN it's touchy!  Like the Lancair Legacy and the Corsair (both of which I love!)

How accurate is 70M mesh? I'm thinking of upgrading the mesh for Washington State but I'm concerned that 70M mesh isn't too terribly accurate, i.e. finer land features not showing up, etc.

Which mesh are you using? Because those are some real breath taking shots!

Go to FS Genesis and download their freeware Rockies mesh.  You won't be sorry.  :)

How do you find the freeware downloads on FSGenesis?

Forgive me for being a little naive if it seems, but I cannot find ANY freeware downloads there.

Try looking HERE...  There are several different ones to get.  I especially recommend the Yosemite mesh.
