Ignore the (ugly) gulfstream and just focus on the scenery.

You're right. They look very strange,since FS has problems with nordic regions. It tends to squeeze textures above a certain latitude...

I think it has to do with the shape of the FS world.

I've heard it's a cylinder instead of a sphere. You can't fly over the North Pole...

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

I knew you couldnt fly over the north pole, and always wondered why. I haven't heard the cylinder thing, thats really interesting and would explain a lot of fs-ey things.
