On the way to the active... Tokyo-Bangkok. Well that was the flightplan.
Liftoff.
Cruising altitude FL340 ... shortly after taking this things went horribly wrong. No1 engine failed necessitating a hasty diversion.
Dumped fuel .... lost altitude and diverted to Kanoya. It turned nicely onto the glide slope .... thats when things got really hairy.
It was allllll over the place ... crabbing .... wing dipping a rollercoaster of a desent.
Got it down .......... but only just and I'm amazed there were no injuries
Parked and empty ........ now the investigation begins.
