I think the author loves the F-14 by the amount of shots of it he provides. It also my favorite fighter and I would chose it over an f16 anyday!

But in the simworld I like the both of them because they both look great and fly great. Yea the F14 is very close to retirement with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter going into service real soon. The F/18 which is sadly better then F14 will also be on the chopping block as well as the F16  when the F35 enters service.

Lol wonder who they gonna sell these birds to when they decide they are obsolete to their needs. I still say the Comanche would have served well as a patrol helicopter. But who cares our government spends and trashes on the needs of their politics.

oh yea I forgot to mention that the F-14 has many different skins that look much better then the default ones. You can find some of them here at simV. But the whole ancholata of skins are available at www.simouthouse.com. Check em out! I think the SU-Killer skins is the best one!

If your into topgun you can download the TOPGUN skins for the tomcat here at simV! Fly as Maverick, Iceman, or a Sundowner!
