Great shots and a nice plane to do it in too!

Thats a tricky one to land the Comet, you need to be ligned and slowing a fair way out just to ensure you will stop on the runway hehe.

Thanks for the comments, guys, glad you liked the shots.

Yes, gixer, had my share of 150-knot arrivals before I learned to set her up early!  Tipped her on her nose a couple of times, too, braking too early!  But she's such fun to fly, and the panel is very nice to work with, as well as being 'different'. :)

If either of you want to try all or part of the trip, I've put a list of suggested airports on the 'Multiplayer' forum (under 'Round-Australia Tour').   I've planned it in legs of about 700-1,200 miles, and made sure that all the suggested airports have decent long runways, so you can use any aeroplane you like.

The route is mostly coastal.  It takes in all four corners of Australia, all the State capitals, and the 'red heart', so it's pretty comprehensive and you should see the place in all its moods!  If you try it, look forward to seeing YOUR screenshots!   :)
