I think a trimotor race is needed! London to Lisbon between the Ford, the Fokker and the Junkers! ;D

The whole collection of Fokkers (both single and tri-motor) can be found at either AVsim or NoNodes (I forget which off the top of my head).

Some of these (like the excellent Southern Cross) are here at SimV (look on the latest vintage page!

I can't particapate due to a lack of time and a lack of Trimotors on my sim. However the race parameters shall be London to Lisbon. So take off from say Luton and fly to Lisbon as fast as possible. Places shall be on elapsed time and the winner gets to give themselves a pat on the back. In fact, sod it. Where can I download a Ju52? I want to take part now. ;D

Now, simple rules. VFR flight rules. Straight line journey. Basically take a bearing and fly it intill you get there. Take screenshots along the way as proof. No autopilot. (You've actually got to fly the race not just spectate from the pilots seat.) Finally the finishing line is an imaginary line from the control tower to the west airport boundery. And the line must be crossed in a North to south direction.

Right. I need to download a Ju52. Any questions?

Ok then, Ben, Woody, and me.  I'll take the Fokker then, since the other two are spoken for.  Let's name the time and place...  ;D

Race parimeters above. You have till thursday to have flown the course and to have posted your screenshots. So do it in your own time. This is NOT a multiplayer event. Just imagine the other competitors. Or, if you have too much free time, set the others up in ttools. ;D
