Well, it seems that an aerobatic airshow was planned, but the pilot had broken his knee and couldn't fly it.
These two guys had heard of my nice performance in Toronto some weeks ago and since I was here. They thought to ask me if I'd like to stand in (I would get paid, as they had no rides in a PC-21 to offer)...
Well...work is work, and times are tough (so long as DeeDee doesn't find out)
A Spad...Hmmm..well I didn't say it, but I had been hoping for a Waco...

But I consented, but with one extra condition...one of them would take my camera and get some shots of me performing (there was something else I should have asked for...I'll come to that later...)
Hmmm...not bad...

Pretty nimble, in fact!

Seems to take a lot to piss this plane off!

Does whatever I ask it to do!

This plane is starting to grow on me!

Wow! I can even spin around and go backwards!

The only problem was that I was annouced as the stand-in. When DeeDee heard my name over the loudspeaker, she frantically went looking for me. She hasn't let me out of her sight much since then. Hence, I wish I had asked the 2 men that my name not be mentioned...
I liked her better when she was scared..
Note to self: next time we fly, fake a problem to scare her (no, bad idea. She may puke in your plane and that smell takes awhile to go away...)

Great shots!
