Twotting around...

After visiting Fireland in Argentina, i decided to get me some sun in the carribean... I took a rather interesting looking Twin-otter from Saint Francois ( STFR - Guadeloupe) to VC Bird int ( TAPA) in Antigua en Baruda... Even the names remind me of cocktails...    ;D

Besides, VC Bird? Has to be Heretic's favorite holiday location...  ;)

Ah! The plane awaits us...

I was seated next to Maurice, a guy from Jamaica... At this point he was complaining about the inhuman and cruelly early departure-time...

At this point he wanted to demonstrate me his barreldrums... Much to the dislike of the passenger seated in front of him...

God, orange water seems to follow me around lately...

Here Maurice was trying to sleep on my shoulder! Fat chance... Up you go!

Ad finally he started shouting: Everybody flap your arms man! We gotta slow down really good....

After the landing Maurice and i hitted the beaches, where he fell asleep in no time... mumbling something 'bout beeing exhausted by those early-bird flying capitan thingy-people...


Ja man!


It's seriously easygoing in the Carribean...

i really like the 4th shot....I love the Twotter since i like Aircrafts, but that one is REALLY BEAUTIFUL, it

Ah,well, will be finishing school next year. Then nine months or fifteen years in the Luftwaffe and the...who knows? ;D

That second shot is absolutely beautiful  :D  :o  ;D  8)
I'm gonna use it as my desktop background, if that's ok with you.

I really dig flying that plane, and the VC is really nice - although when landing I keep getting the "Don't Sink - Don't Sink" warnings, even after I've touched down and taxiied. Still, a small shortcoming for such a beautiful bird.

Great shots, lovely plane too. I still can't understand why my Twotter loses engine power after 10 mins flying. ???
