A article on Avsim today said that Simtech isn't going to do payware anymore and all it's current releases will be launched as freeware. Apparently they weren't making any money. The only catch to this deal is you'll only be able to download the stuff from Avsim.

I feel sorry for those who bought them.

All four of the Simtech planes installed came to 1.5 Gigs!   :o  Time to weed out some of those un-necessary textures...

No Kidding. 1.5gb for all of them. Doesn't default FS2004 come in at just over 2gb?
