Maybe Alan or Ben will confirm this but I suspect he did in Gmax.

Ah, shucks.  :D

Thanks Ben.  It was great fun and good practice building your home.  Your screenshots looks awesome, especially the one with the Skybaby!  I'm very happy that you're enjoying it.

The model was created with Autodesk VIZ 4 and then exported to gmax as a .3DS file.  VIZ has built in macros for building doors, windows, walls, railings and even plants/trees, so that makes it's relatively easy.  It took me a couple days of tinkering to get it presentable.
