Will it let you choose your directory?  If so, try that and install it manually...

Often in these self-installers you have a path to enter...usually C:\program files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9

What you can do is enter the directory to which you downloaded the .exe then move the files.

another possibility is that you got a corrupted copy...

Ben when your run the install it opens several windows that you have to select next or cancel, its in one of these windows that it says it is going to install to FS2002 directory, just to the right of this is a button with three dots on it, click the botton and choose the path to FS9s directory, then contenue with the install.

It has been a long time since I installed this jewel, but here goes.

This plane was originally designed as demo/payware/shareware and has a demo security feature for time limit on the guages.

The guages only work for a few minutes and then are blacked out from then on.

When he released it after the catfight with MAAM, he designed a key crack into it so that the guages work all the time for this model to make it freeware.

It MUST be installed by the auto installer, you cannot drag and drop, or the guages will never work. Believe me, I tried many times as I detest auto installers.

So get into the readme and follow the directions for install to the letter or the guages will never work right.

Once you do, you will have one of the finest made.

I tried severel more times but still the same message. :( When I click on the auto-installer it says ''this file contains invalid data''. I'm pretty upset. :'(
