The first livery I want to do by myself :) . But I want to make a repaintkit for everybody. So you can make your own liveries. I am eager to see your work. But first I have to unwrap the model ::) .

OOooo, more pics. Looks fantastic!
The only problem I see, is this jet being a frame rate monster.

This aircraft has around 19000 Faces. Only the landing gear is still missing. But I tested a model mith 25000 Faces without any problems. (2.7GHz, 1GB RAM, 9800 Pro). After finishing the model I reduce unimportant polys. After the optimizing I tell you the final polycount.

The whole aircraft has around 22000 Faces. I forgot to add the pilots ::). But I found out the loadout has a count of 9000 Faces  :o . Now I know where I have to reduce some polys :) . It is no problem to reduce this high Value of 22000 Faces to 17000. Ths should be low enough for good frame rates. The default aircraft "Curtiss Jenny" has around 15000 Faces ;).

Untill you add textures it's hard to say how plane will behave in sim.Because it's not a polycount that kills FPS,it's mapping and textures.Even 30000-40000 polys untextured plane fly smoothly even on weak mashine...
Using as smaller textures size as possible, creating as smaller number of texture sheets as possible, avoiding to use 32-bit textures-that's the key...
