More Floatplanes...

Postby jordonj » Thu Oct 07, 2004 6:20 pm

I only saw two more come in...

Of the lot though, this was my favorite!  The Swift!

Image

The plane was loud, but that didn't bother me at all!  Can't really say the same for DeeDee though...:P

Image

I have heard that the Swift is real touchy and hard to fly, but I couldn't see that from the way the pilots handled it...

Image

Next came a Waco (didn't do any aerobatics though)...
After the Waco landed, we got the radio call that we were free to move about.  We decided that lunch was in order.  I wanted to get a closer look at the Swift!

Image

As we came in, we saw the Waco coming into the dock near the airfield.  I remember flying one of these (good times! 8) )

Image

The minute we were tied to the dock, I jumped off the boat and ran to get some shots of the Swift!

I don't think DeeDee's too happy with me (Russel is staying out of it...tank gott) as she was standing with her hands on her hips (that's an indication that she's close to going nuclear).  When I came back, she said that we were going to go shopping in town after lunch.

Shopping...:P

She'll have to catch me first! ;D
