Its not so bad for me. I actually like the new splash screen(thank goodness). But I cant stand the plane! Its really hard to control, it stalls easy, it takes forever to get off the ground and the VC is crap. I hate it. >:(

Well, as the old saying goes, nothing in life is "free"

So with this freeware they install an advertisement if you do not do it the correct way and download into  a temp file
My life is like the movie Office Space

You know, you shouldn't be mad at the creator.  They may have put in a splash screen with ads, but from what was said in the other thread you started in the FS2004 forum, the ReadMe stated that it was going to do that.  So . . .

ALWAYS READ DOCUMENTATION! ;D

(Yes, this is me, being a jerk.  Anyone surprised? ::))

Yeah I got the same version as Joe:

Automatic Installation:
--------------------
1) Clic on the HBYCT_V1_Install.exe file.

Automatic Uninstallation:
--------------------
1) Clic on the uninstall Menu.

Manual Installation (on request only):
--------------------------------------
1) UnZip LongEze_HBYCT.zip file to the Flight Simulator main directory. LongEze_HBYCT will be created in your Aircraft folder. Inside will be sub folders, which include Model, Panel, Texture, Gauges, Effects, Sound, Splash and Flights folders.
2) Copy all *.gau files to the main Gauges folder, and all *.fx files to the Effects folder.
4) Copy the Designair folder included in the Flights folder to the main Flights folder.
5) copy the dlgsplash.bmp file to the UIRES folder..
6) Start FS2002 or FS2004 and enjoy your Millennium Flight!

Manual Uninstallation (on request only):
----------------------------------------
1) Just delete all the files starting with LongEze_HBYCT_*.* located in all the FS9 folders.

It does mention how to install it manually but there was no mention of how to correct it.
