British Airways 742

Postby Nexus » Sat Sep 25, 2004 3:49 pm

Little landing sequence. Just like in real life, the 747 is the easiest aircraft to land in FS2004  :)
I messed around with the weather during the replay, hence the somewhat different ambient lightning  :)

Good job these aren't for the screenie contest.....

I wouldn't be able to choose the winner from this batch (although 3 & 4 do stand out from the rest for me)

All-in-all a fine bunch of shots you have there Nex 8) :) ;)

Cheers,

Carl out.....

Very nice shots, they all look great. Some great angles and the clarity is great. The one thing i would recommend is the blue tire smoke (available here and at avsim i think), would make the touchdown look even nicer imo.

Nice shots, The 747 in British Airways skin looks like it was meant for that aircraft. I can't think of any other skins that make the 747 look so Majestic.

Although I think landing it is easy, the transition from autopilot to manual flight is quirky. When I disengage the autopilot the tail rudders tend to flap out of control and the big bird drops out of the sky like an elevator that got its cables cut :-/. Haven't figured whats wrong with her yet, but I still keep her because like I said she is a beauty to fly and its the best looking 747 model.
Its only in your mind, strong mind, strong soul and nobody can take that from you!
