777 ATL-CDG

Postby B777 » Wed Sep 22, 2004 4:32 pm

Here are a few screenshots from Delta flight 21 with a 777-200.  Very nice one, if you go with direct gps route (I was a little lazy that day and decided to go straight there hehe  :) ), it takes you straight over DCA, BWI, PHL, EWR, JFK, LGA, and BOS!  Lots of screenshot opportunities!.  Anyways, here they are:

Climbing out of ATL, bit of a busy day with a few 767s and a bunch of AirTrans.  About 6th in line for takeoff.

Overflying JFK at FL430.  You gotta give Microsoft some credit for the nice ground textures around JFK.

On loooong finals to CDG.  Took a while to get there...

Finally there (kinda)!  Nice flight, great plane, and two great airports (at least from an aviators view).

Hope you liked them! :)

That second to last approach-shot is awsome!

( but you might wanna check the AA settings of your card for smoother edges, just a tip!)  ;)

Thanks for your comments!  The picture is a little jagged because it was orignally a 1024x768, but I had to resize.

Ok, perhaps you need a better resizing-program then... ;D

Try www.irfanview.com

It's free and keeps me happy...

In what resolution do you fly? I bet your 1024x768 is the size of the shot, not the resolution of the picture... Or am I mixing these things up again...  ???

Sorry, your right.  I was thinking of the the size of the shot.  I do fly in 1024x768, but one day when I was messing around with my sliders and I noticed I screwed them up ;D.  Never got around to fixing them becuase it wasn't too bad, but I'll fix them right now. ;)

BTW, I just got a new computer today, so everything will be brand-spankin new!! ;D ;D
I'm really happy!! ;)

Nice shots... I just flew out of LFPG earlier to EHAM for VA Air France.  Posting shots of the flight soon ;)

I would definatly recamend the program Omag mentioned.  I use it to resize mine and they seem to be just as clear as the originals.
