Great Day at Eagles Field

Postby Splash » Wed Sep 22, 2004 6:08 pm

;D ;D ;D
Someone told Buddy and me about "Eagle's Field" so we just had to go up and spend the day there.
After landing, we just sat back and watched some gliders taking off and landing

After going in and looking around, a bite to eat etc, we decided to check out the parties that are famous all along the beachfront.  They weren't kiddin', planes, boats coming and going and more ladies than guys here.

Later we were invited on this same Garwood to watch the fireworks.  Awesome and made for a great day

Your pictures are lovely.  What are the little red numbers in the sky?

They indicate the AI aircraft. You can have them on or off.  On makes them easier to see, but then you have the #s in your screenies...

Hi Fli-Girl
First welcome to SimV and then, those little red numbers indicate ai aircraft (artifical intelligence) that are out there flyin' around and it gives the aircraft identification such as a/c, flight level, distance etc.

The scenery and fireworks can be downloaded from the Golden Eagles site.  I highly recommend those and the Globe Swift.  Great plane!!
