I think I might actually be able to say I can fly helicopters soon. whadya think to this? I know its not a great screenie, but hey....

Gklad you like it. If you understand how they fly then they arent too hard to learn. Its taken me about 3 hours to get to this stage. I can go and 'plonk' (as supposed to land) wherever I want now.

Turns on superior voice....

I've been flying helis for ages now and I must say I like em a lot. I'd rather fly a big heli than a little prop any day.

If you haven't flow for a while you still make mistakes on approach and landing from time to time but pretty soon you forget you ever had such big problems in the beginning.

Challenging but ultimately very rewarding - and as you can see from the posts, not mastered by everyone. Glad you're getting there ;)

Its just so much fun.... I like the huey more than the small stuf too. I used to have a HeliBus on CFS1 but I can't find a good 2K2/FS9 version...

Nice! Fun to fly aren't they?  Been trying for days to land a G-47 bell on top of a downtown Chicago roof top to no avail#$%##@!! :) :)

I flew Commanche vs Hokum for a long time, but I haven't played for some years.

I plan to try them again (maybe after I play with the heavies)...
