My latest AI heli

Postby RollerBall » Fri Sep 17, 2004 5:15 am

I don't like my large AI helis sounding like small props - let alone motorgliders - so I base all mine on turboprops. This one has taken a long time to do. Dirk Fassbender has made a special AI model for his Eurocopter but it's a 'cut down' version of his proper model with no pilot and a veeeery poor rotor texture. Almost all of his models have buckets and things swinging beneath them so firstly I had to find one that didn't have, then I had to mate it to the textures I wanted and then I had to make it work  ???

Here are the results

Nice clear mipless extended bmp textures - little bit more to do but I'm well pleased :)

Without a doubt the best looking AI heli I've ever seen Roger, really nice.
When will you be releasing it for we mere mortals?
