I rember those! Last year I put a tiny pager motor and prop on one with a small cap to provide power. It flew once but was never seen again thanks to a gust of wind and a small dog  :(.

That is funny... I was always buying those things as a kid.  As I got older, I found it more fun to start building my own balsa wood gliders.  Great little hobby.
