seafury + turboprop engine

they never did really find out how to do proper contra-rotating props in the west

If it's ugly, I like it! ;D

Now what about flying upside-down or through the bridge?

Nice plane where did you get it?

Got it at FSim last nite, top of the list, Ramsa (wyverns4.zip Kazunori Ito)

flying upside-down or through

Been there, Done that.  But never on the first flight.  I am gettin' a little cautious in my old age.  And besides I never had time for my "Screech" lol

Cheers

???

Hmmmm

Don't think a fully loaded Wyvern S4 would do over 400 KIAS at sea level and be so skittish - it had the reputation of being a bit of a pudding with the Python engine after good old RR refused to supply the Clyde, which was the preferred power plant.

So the FDE leaves a bit to be desired I think - the model though is excellent.

Ivan, what about the RAF's Shackleton or the Griffon engined Spitfire? The west had improved so fast that contra props were outdated before they appeared. The Russian Bear was just another example of Communist Bloc refusal to catch on. ;D

15000-17000 hp output... you call that outdated?
