There are some anomalies in several places (airports in craters, on long mesas, etc.)

Maybe this will be fixed in FS10

LOL, now that'd suck to have to takeoff outta there.

Yeah, the other day I was taking off out of Antarctica and strangely noticed that as I was climbing out... the runway was moving away from the ice!  Yikes!! lol  The whole runway complex... following right behind me.

Revelstokes is there alright, I've toured the town many a time.

But there is no waterfall of such proportions.
Nor is there one by the airport.

There are a few places like that in FS9 such as the canyons in Tanzania and Greenland. Still looks cool though!  8)

Revelstoke is there ok. I get the same anomaly ever since I installed someone's mesh scenery. I'm too lazy to uninstall it, but 1 day I will, as the scenery is really beautiful. There's a few lakes and a Dam and also a spiral railroad tunnel.

... looks familiar
did you add scenery before starting FS (so it has to do a library rebuild)?

no, I have NO addon on this area. The only change is the water effects. but thats global. There is no mesh or anything else here. In fact I have no landclass addon anywhere in FS. This is the way it came.  I do have USRoads but that wouldnt affect this area in Canada

Several patches to fix these have been released now. Personally I'm keeping them just for the sheer silly-fun factor ;D

Can anyone provide the location of airports inside of canyons? I know of only one loaction (airport code MRSL) But I am looking for a real cool place to set a default take off point for the Airwolf Helicopter (somewhere inside a canyon would be cool)!
