Wing Tip Formation - Hawker Hunter

Postby Chaplain.Kaos » Fri Sep 03, 2004 1:45 pm

Me and my Dutch friend flying from VHHX, Hong Kong to Z28X, Pratas Island, Taiwan. Nice tight formation, then we performed overhead join, brake right and landed Rway11. Not a formation landing, I slowed to 120Kias with heavy flaps and Smith went in at about 150Kias.

We arent pros, but damn this was fun...

:)

By the way, Pratas Island is quite cute for a quick stop over.

Good bit of flying Chris, now the next bit is to get the wings overlapping. That is a little scary ;D ;D ;D
