Prelude to the Show

Postby jordonj » Fri Sep 03, 2004 12:14 pm

Well, not long after I arrived and KAPN, Splash was there to pick me up...and he wasn't about to take "no" for an answer (good thing Mr. G and Alundra are busy doing...romantic couple stuff...). ;)

So after a loong flight we arrived at HTKJ and I saw what Ludo had waiting for me...

Image

It seems that I was to be one of the openers for the show.  This is more a warplane show, so I'm not competing...just providing entertainment (and having a good time doing so ;D)!

A little inverted flight...just to warm up...

Smoke on...

Whip it around all you like...this plane just won't quit! 8)

And now for my favorite manuver...

Image

Looping in free-fall...

And finishing with inverted low altitude flight!

Image

Well I was having so much fun, that I jumped a bit when Ludo crackled over the radio and told me it was time to land (Omag was taxiing to the runway)...

Image

I didn't complain...after all these people didn't come to see me throw an antique biplane around...;)  But I had a great time, got to see the show for free, and of course there was plenty of screech and fried bologna to go around!

For anyone who hasn't seen yet, the winners are here (as well as Ludo's new toy!)

No? Then I won't be able to fly.  As someone asked awhile ago, "What's it like to fly sober?"  The best way to fly is full of baloney and screech.  I have found more empty bottles of champagne and beer in Ozzy's plane than the plane is worth.  That's why he's crazy.  bugga bugga!!!!!
HawkOne is back in action again  Yahooooooo

Where did you get that beauty of a plane Ludo :)

It was payware at one time, but Bill Lyons has made it freely available...along with his swift and his versions of the Piper Cub!  I found this at No Nodes (FlightSim.com) and it's well worth the effort to log in to get this beauty!  I have e-mailed him asking his permission to upload it here at SimV!
