From Sow's Ear to.......

Postby RollerBall » Sun Aug 29, 2004 12:15 pm

;)
You know the saying.

Remember this old lady? First I gave her a new panel.

Image

Then I gave her a spruce-up. Her textures are photo-real. OK - trouble is they are grey scale - at least mine are. So I decided to give her a bit of face powder and lipstick.

Then I did a few tweaks on her FDE - she didn't complain  :)

Image

So how does she fly? Well now you can feel she's a bit of a heavy-arsed old broad.

Image

She's very flyable, she'll hover quite nicely. But she's a bit more challenging and demanding now. You have to fly her all the time. Treat her with respect - give her more time than something smaller, lighter and more flighty.

Image

Have to say I like her a lot. Carrier landings are - let's say - a bit different now with her.

Right here on SimV

But the original textures are a bit colourless which is why I tarted the old girl up (see below)

Image

And the FDE changes I've made change the feel quite a lot as well. I'll upload the files if people want em
