Toronto to Toronto......Part 36

Postby ludo62 » Fri Aug 27, 2004 6:00 pm

After having our coffee at the restaurant Davy and i wanted some more information about the airshow in Guinea-Bissau. They said that it was close to a town called Cufar and that the fee was around $2000 :D. that's not a bad deal. I didn't understand why they looked at me as if i lost my mind, the oldest man in the group said that the average monthly salary is about $30 a month, and that a good working camel costs about $75 (i can't even buy a car for $75 that works good), i wonder if they have camel insurance here ???. We had some of Splash's bologna and a sip of his screech as we prepared to go to Guinea-Bissau  ;).

Clear weather at last  :D.

Entering Guinea-Bissau's airspace among the beautiful clouds :o.

What a scene from my cockpit 8)
Image
Airport insight, i think i can see the planes on the ground for the airshow yoo hoo ;).
Image
Safely landed on an airport in the middle of bushes and trees ::). Once the plane came to a complete stop, Davy jumped out and ran to the registration booth to pay for our entry in the airshow. The guy at the booth called Moebouto said that we needed to fly with our own plane, i told him that this was impossible because we needed the plane for our trip around the world :P. He said that the only other thing we could do was to rent a plane from a local guy called Ismahalli who has some nice planes to rent. Moebouto pointed us in the direction to meet Ismahalli, excited we follwed his direction ;D. Once there Ismahalli opened his fragile hangar and showed us what he had and what we could choose from. I never seen Davy that excited ever before, eventhough i was pretty excited myself after what i saw :o :o :o. And now comes the hard part, which plane are we gonna choose ???. If you want to know stay tuned for Toronto to Toronto...........Part 37 ;D.

And who is itching to know ???. Happy flying .
