is this the right size now?...my apologies to anyone i have inconvienced,,,reread the tute,,,what i was doing wrong was not "saving for web", which then constrains down below 100k...also, i will be more carefull in choice of forums to post I.E., freeware etc....to fly2e...let me know if this meets criteria...if so.. i think i will FINALLY be ok with all this!

Valo, I appreciate your eagerness to resolve the problem but here is where the problem lies. Your images are still at 216kb & 255k. Did you change the name? You need to get them under 100kb each! I know you are trying to render the problem, keep trying. They can stay, but only for a little bit since you are logged and trying to figure this out. You said it right,  
"saving for web", which then constrains down below 100k
but for some reason they are still each over 200kb!  ???

Valo, see your pics now. I reduced them & They are under 100k with NO loss of clarity. Just right click on the image, properties and then you will see your size.

Valo...

I find that if my pics are saved as Paint Shop Pro .bmp types, the size is enormous, in mega-bytes, but if they are opened with Irfanview, re-sized as 800 X 600 and saved as .jpg types then no problemo...less than 100k... ;)...!

dave....man!!!!!!...what the heck is my problem!!!....ok...i now think that i am not going far enough down on my jpeg compression....ok...enough...i am going to send two new ones after writing this.....i guarantee they will be correct  >:(.......i can swear that the size on these that i just sent were BELOW 100k,,....i do look at the size before uploading so i guess i still have my head you know where!......thanx for being so patient
