For Pop Stars and Plutocrats

It has to be the good ole Gulfstream. A while ago I redid the FDE of Rick Sasala's 2002 Gulf IV for normal flying and AI. Was playing around with it lately in some spare moments I had and did a few quick repaints. Quite like this one.

I changed the panel and the way Rick did the VC means you can change the layout on that as well to match. Great idea.

Image

It's very FR friendly and makes excellent AI. Plus it still looks pretty good for its age.

Image

With the FDE changes I've made it's also stable and flies well

Image

Only problem for non-AI use is that the textures are rather simple so you can't put any markings on the wings (they would appear symetrically above and below on both wings)

Image

I like it a lot. Makes a good IFR platform

Well done Mr Sasala. You made a lot of changes and updates in response to d/loaders' demands and you ended up with a little gem that still stands up well

Would you post or send me the FDE update you did?  I fly that a lot and really like it.

Nice shots and livery, btw.  I've always though that bizjets l;ook more interesting in dark colors than in white, white and more white.

Rollerball, Nice shots of a great model. I contacted Rick Sasala a while ago and asked him if he could up date his GIV or make a GV. He told me that he was not going to, but that I could update it if I wanted to. Maybe someday I will give it a try. Can you upload the new improved model to Simviation? I do not think Rick would mind. Thanks 8)  ;D

Thanks. It's a terrific and I think much underrated model by Rick Sasala. As well as the VC its got a highly detailed cabin interior (Ctr-Enter a few times and then look back)

Image

Rick has done some good stuff - Hawkeye, A6 etc.

Hope a few people take another look at this one.
