Took these flying over the Persian Gulf. Just trying out the new water effects I picked up. They're Vilk's Water Effects from FSFreeware.

If you want the texture's, they're only available at FSFreeware.com. Do a search in the library for "FS2004 Vilk's Water (Vater)".

Ahhh, now that's a water texteure that should fill my appetite. Been looking for something like this for a while. How does it look when you're lower down. Some textures start to look cruddy when you get closer.

It's more subtle than Bill Lyon's textures. The shots above were taken at 5000ft. It does have that cruddy look but it's a lot smoother. They'll look better if you have a graphics card that will max out water textures.
