Here's a Polish C172 heading over the green grass of N.Poland for Gdansk and a spot of 360 madness...

With my new Saitek stick everything makes me feel like I'm inside the head of an air-guitaring headbanging metal fan filmed in slow motion... well, actually not quite but... up, down, up, down....guess I need to fix the sensitivities.... or my head.

Over Gdansk the fog came roiling in and soon the streets were crawling with zombies.

It brought back pleasant memories of playing Resident Evil back in the day.

As if reading my mind, my instructor Wotjech (My son's name, but in Polish....
I can hardly wait till he gets old enough to hear I named him after the permantently sunglassed Polish dictator) pulled out a grenade launcher and started launching incendiaries onto the streets of Raccoon City. I mean, Gdansk.
It's....blood. I hope it's not....Chris's blood.

Up the steps, one by one, scrolling.... clunk, clunk, clunk. Carefully rotate. AAaagh, what is that thing. No, I've run into a wall. No, I can't turn, I'm stuck!!! Panic! No, the camera! Where am I? Not again, sink to floor, get eaten....

When I came across that first zombie in the game I was so scared it took me about 10 tries to kill it before I realised that with a knife I had no chance... and ran away.

And those things that ran across the ceiling, first view of those outside side the window made my blood run cold. Literally, my wife had to heat me up in the bath.

And those dogs, the first time they came leaping through the window.....
Later of course I was mowing the beggars down like no tomorrow, but those aren't the moments I treasure.
Classic game, classic plane...
Thanks for looking
