Everything in the VC of a train is clickable! and it all works, even the switches that do nothing are usable! I mean, its the greatest thing! Since my FS doesnt work, I'll prolly be boring you all of trains for a while! this a fun game, and the tutorials get you rolling fast! Cheers, Gunny and Happy Rails!

Gunny, I have a couple of qyestions.

1) Is there money involved? IE: per trip, per load?

2)Do you go where they send you, or are you on your own?

I gotta put my gig of ram back in the computer but when I do I'll get some more shots of the gameplay Element (its essential) this game is Very lacking in routes, Mostly just Payware 'Demos' By stock or at least in my Version........ All of the Trainz 2004 stuff is compatible But, I cant seem to find it!!!!!!!! Cheers, Gunny

I've been playing a bit of Trainz 2004 and it's a lot of fun. I like to put a ton of trains on one large route and start them up, then hand the sim over to my son, who takes control of different trains and has a great time...

MS Train Simulator is still more realistic looking though, despite it's age. IMHO Trainz isn't really a Train simulator, it's a model railway simulator at heart, with extra goodies added but not looking as realistic as it could...

There's tons of stuff you can download for it on planet auran and other places, BUT BUT BUT download speeds are utterly dismal, I get 4kb/sec and, what's worse, all sceneries are composed of disgusting things called 'dependencies'. You download one route, and find it needs a ton (like 50, no joke) of objects made by other people which don't come with it, and sometimes if you download that stuff you find that it also has dependencies. The download manager should download all these things automatically, but the darn routes still don't work even after I've spent an hour downloading every bit of fence, every stone. I gave up on it, though vehicles and sound can be downloaded relatively easily, the problem there being I don't care that much, I want routes...

Apparently Trainz 2006 has an improved editor and accesss to downloads, so maybe yours will work better in this direction than mine...

Nice shots, please post more! I was intending to do so too....It definately makes a fun change... and the Modular City addon looks great (from screenshots)...

The modular city route is great! I gotta get some addons, Canadian routes, Know of any and Planet Auran I'll look into it....... I wish it had train selection, bummer that it doesnt! and the adding all the stuff manually, thats bull! MSTS Was better interface, but the graphics of Trainz 2006 kill it I think.... but thats my oppinion! if you know of any Fan sites with great addons, send me a PM any time! Cheers, Gunny (I can do special request shots for anyone who wants to see particular things I leave out)

Edit: Well I cant use the download station the serial on my game doesnt register.... hmmm I got this as a gift recently and it was unopened, I dunno whats up! any sugestions? Cheers, Gunny
