This is how it looks in real life. I took this photo while flying a little further along the south coast over the cliffs at Beachy Head recently. Not bad for an oldie eh?

Thanks for the comments chaps. I wasn't too sure how well this would go down. This is the first time I've fired up CFS1 for a long time & I'd forgotten just how good it is. I'm not sure the default mesh in FS9 compares with it, not in this part of the world anyway. I might post some more later.
I've been having a great time downloading all my old favourites from the CFS1 sections. Most of these files are less than 500k.
They obviously don't compare with what we have now but it's amazing what the designers could do with the tools available at the time. The Spitfire in my shot has a staic virtual cockpit, sliding canopy & rolling wheels. I still don't know how Alain did that back in 1998.
Many of the familiar names in FS aircraft design took their first faltering steps in CFS1. These were probably the most exciting times for me in something like 5 years I've been involved in this hobby. Happy days.
Good point. I got an F-22 that opens + a ladder drops when engines are off. Just thought there might have been a key needed for it.This is CFS1.
