Some may remember my quiz in the photo section last week. One photo was of the HP 42. Some think it was an ugly aircraft but I think it's a wonderful example of an earlier time, although it was just a bit too late for it's own time. Only 8 were built. It did bring several things that the public and airlines wanted. Safety, reliability, and comfort ensured it's success with Imperial Airways. I found this to be a facinating plane but could only find one for FS4! I never thought any designers would want to make such a thing but look what I found at Avsim today, the HP 42 for FS2004. I took it for a test flight over London England.


Thank you Derek Palmer and Saverio Maurri for bringing such a classic to life. It's a FSDS2 model BTW.
