Did you see, that in your 1st 2 links the planes are on the taxiway? So no reverser deployed. I think that's the noise reduction kit I was taking about. But I'm unsure about this, too.
I think Ivan is right.
Internal cascade (no stuff visible) vs clamshell (with the big doors)
- The internal cascades don't move
OR extend to the rear (JT3D-7 aftermarket engine), but I'm unsure.
- The Clamshells open like your Citation
Engine types for the 727-200:
64.5kN (14,500lb) Pratt & Whitney JT8D-9 turbofans,
67.2kN (15,000lb) JT8D-11s,
68.9kN (15,500lb) JT8D-15s
71.1kN (16,000lb) JT8D-17s (Advanced only),
77.3kN (17,400lb) JT8D-17Rs (Advanced only).
And I've left out the aftermarket modifications....
So you've got 5 to choose.
Cheers,
Fabian
