HA! I'm a couple months away from 21 and I'm still dry, and I intend to stay that way! ;)

Finally someone with some sense!  I was starting to get worried there...

Im 17 and havent ever gotten 'wasted' or even really drunken alcohol (except for the occasional DISGUSTING sip of Maneschevitz wine at certain holidays)

Only been "wasted" 3 times since I started drinking 4 years ago.  First 2 were at parties, first time depressed, second POed at some happenings that day.

Last time I was truely wasted was really by accident ::)  The last night of my stay in Taiwan we all went to a bar (legal age is 18 there) and it was the first time I have really been exposed to mixed drinks other then some Jack+Coke.  They gave me tall glass of beer then had a shot glass full of something.  Lit it on fire and dropped it in.  Tasted great, but didnt realize those shot glasses were about 90% alcohol...so 3 of those beers and a little strait Jack...well...dont remember much :P  Pictures do tell me i didnt pass out, all I know is that the 2 lady bartenders were 8) and i made out with at least one of them :-X  Damn i really wish I could remember that night :P

I usualy just enjoy an occasional beer or sip some whiskey.  Dont really enjoy getting drunk.  Most I do at parties anymore is get a little buzz and stop.

Bit of advise to anyone...Hangovers and 14 hour flights are not a good combination...so dont get smashed the night before your flight :-/

I'm proud to say I've never been drunk my whole life, yet I like my wine, champagne, and the occasionally single malt whiskey... it's all about tasting... however, some nations seem to like bingedrinking more... never understood why...

Had the odd beer when i was like 14/15 and thought I was the man lol Probz started drinking properly at 16...

And now at the tender age of 17 (nearly 18 ;D) im out at least once a week clubbing, absolutely ripped!! I mean common, it just isnt any fun otherwise...and i am the worst dancer when sober!

I don't really see alcohol as a problem though, I literally never drink around the house, family occasions, on my own etc...only if im at a party or a club/bar.

And i've never done any drugs at all, or smoked even once 8) Just enjoy a nice booze up on a friday night!

How is that sense, why do you feel the need to judge everything ... do you think people actually care or something?

Technically speaking, I got totally $hitfaced at the ripe old age of 3...lmao. My mom and I were visiting my grandparents. My grandfather came out and sat his beer bottle a bit to close to the edge of the dinning room table and proceeded to the bathroom. When he came back he said, "Where's my beer"? My mom's reply, "Ah, where's my son?"

A search mission turned up the beer thief in the living room behind the rocker. Totally $hitfaced with empty bottle. They never were to sure how much I drank and how much I split. There was a sizable beer puddle reported.

My mom said I was all giggly and acting to silly even for a 3 year old. My mom said that you've never lived until you've dealt with a 3 year old that's drunk.  ;)

My grandmother about kicked my grandfathers butt for leaving the bottle to close to the edge of the table. My grandfather laughed his A$$ off.... ;D

no offense flymo, but your as bad saying that the guy who drinks loads is the only one having any fun. I dont touch a drop of the stuff and have enough fun when i'm out. In my opinion if you need to get p*ssed out of your head to have fun, then your a very boring person normally.

Apperently Dutch Youth are the leading drinkers of Europe ( at least)... Apperently they drink more than U.K. Football fans.... I never touched a drop of alcohol and I never will...

Somehow this thread made me think of the underneath Giles cartoon. Youth and drinking has been an issue for years..

lol i never said anything about drugs, naughty naughty ;) ;D That said me and a friend had our drinks spiked a few months ago, and from the side effects I would imagine it was E...would by lying if I said it wasnt without its charms!! One of he craziest nights of my life, till I passed out lol

but seriously, I would never intentionally take drugs, I just think its a step onto a slippery slope...

I appreciate your opinion Craig, as always...and yeh you may be right, me, my friends and the other thousands of people out having a good time on a friday night must be soooo boring.

LOL... ;D

When I was about 14. My grandfather was telling me all about my 3 year old drinking binge. My mom was also listening to the conversation. He also told me of my mom's attempts to change my diaper.

As any parent well knows, when you have a baby boy, changing a diaper can be rather interesting. You learn real quick to lay the old diaper over their little willies, while you get the new diaper ready for a QUICK change.

Well, because I was drunk, I of course peed allot more than normal. I got to kicking my legs all over the place...lmao....I was having fun.... ;D. My grandfather told me that of course the diaper didn't cover me long. He said it flew off and my mom got a Christening beyond belief. LMAO, he said he looked out and all he saw was what looked like a little lose fire hose spraying every where. My poor mom was trying desperately to cover me up. She was all of 19 at the time and quite inexperienced. She had gotten married at the ripe old age of 15 way back when. Her first born (little ole me) was born 2 days before her 16th birthday.

After words, my mom had to change her clothes. When she came out into the living room. My grandfather burst out in total laughter. My mom said, "Very funny dad, very funny"!

So see, from a very early age, I was showing signs of being a mischievous little snot..... ;)

The really hilarious part is that back then, diapers were cloth and you not only had to use diaper pins, but you had to put on rubber pants over the cloth diapers. Then dress the child. So if the kid was being a miserable little snot like I was. The poor mom's had to go through the changing procedure again. Hmm, no wonder my mom had absolutely no pity on me when I was fussing about changing my kids diapers (pampers)....
