Might that be a way for a lightning in the skies over the UK? I've thought of it before... maybe even a South african registration?




Why would people keep their planes on the americac registration while flying in britain?


It's to do with either night flying or instrument flying. I think if you get the ppl rating in the USA you can fly an Nreg plane in the UK and use the rating, BUT if you fly a G reg plane you can't.
