The start of the days racing. Somehow the French had managed to translate the welcome pack to the festival yet couldn't translate the race instructions. Therefore no one knew where they were going and we led a dozen boats round the wrong course.

The dolphin that terrorised the harbour. He didn't like oars and actually stole one from a man who was sculling. Apparently he also cause me to be pushed out of a dinghy at 2 in the morning.

The mighty Cancalais. Replica fishing Lugger. This pic is now my desktop.

Taken five minutes later when she crossed our bow.

Replica pilot cutter. Huge sail plan but still as slow as a bus.

Biggest red ensign i've ever seen. Very effective.

The famous Pen Duick. Belonged to the late Eric Taberly who was responsible for getting France into sailing in the 70's and 80's. He owned a sucession of Pen Duicks from I to VI. Sadly he drowned after falling off this boat in the Irish sea.

I have more but I consider these to be the best. I may post more though later.
