This is what you're presented with as you walk into the museum. A fantastic sight I think you'll agree.
It was here I gave the settings a tweak and I was quite satisfied with the results.
So satisfied actually that I went back and started again.

This is another of their boats (they have three in total, though the third is not nearly so good as these two). It's thought that while the first one was a ceremonial boat, this one was the type they went a-raiding in as it's a more seaworthy design.

This ones a bit blurry, but then with a 3 second exposure, a flash and no tripod, I defy anyone to do better. These are little viking dinghys found in pieces in one of the ships. The museum put them together and here they are for all to see.
