Crash...I can remember the time, long ago, when cats, like many other certain creatures, could be regarded as vermin, and could quite legally be disposed of by anyone, at will*....

Nowadays, animals like cats, etc, are regarded as ...."Someone's Property", and it is an offense to shoot them, etc....or even to shout at them!
I just look angrily at next-door neighbours crapping cat, to avoid the long arm of the Law!...
