What part of, written by Ozzy: "This is getting a bit political/prejudiced. Please cool it guys or I'll have to lock the thread. We've had the pro/anti-gun argument I don't know how many times and it always ends in tears.... mind you that is what happens when we lock anyone in the broom cupboard with Kevins toilet! Makes CS gas look like perfume" in the "Great Britain.....not so great" thread do some people not understand. ::)

Nothing like jumping in with both feet, reading the last post and having no idea what the entire conversation is about and getting a thread locked. Generally, said warning is, if not above your post, then a couple above it. It happens time and time and time again. ::)

Sometimes rather than lock a thread that could carry on if a remark or two was not posted, why can't MODS just remove the offending words and replace it with something similar to the warning that replaces a picture that does not meet the sites requirements. E.g, removed, see MODS warning already posted. This would be no more censorship than having a thread locked, but would enable the thread to stay on track. Obviously, a thread that is going really down hill should be locked, but if it is only two people or so that cannot read, why lock the thread.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
