Never a dull moment...and gives me a reason to closely explore those areas in my Flight Sim.....
Used to watch KRON every night, 2200-2230 before bed. Dad insisted
Back in those days, I was the remote. Dad smack me on the back of the head, channel up, left side, channel down, top, volume up too high, all over, SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN, and leave yer sister alone!
The fine tuning was presumed on a channel change LOL!
Those were the good ol days tho, when a smack on the head or the tail was noy only allowed, but encouraged by the "authorities". Great way to raise a kid, IMO, too!
My first Flight Intructor, one Goldie by name, used a similar system from the rear cockpit with a yardstick when I was learning gliders too, come to think. I always knew when I had messed up bad enough to warrant him
taking the controls, because I would wake up during the unusual attitude recovery proceedure

He was darn good with that yardstick too, let me tell you!
Looking to the skies for a C150 puttering by..
