My old cat was just the same after he'd eaten a curry. Putting him out via the back door soon fixed that.

Interesting how flammable and inflammable both mean basically the same thing, but edible and inedible don't.
It sometimes seems a thing of pity for a first language.I pity anyone who has to learn English as a second language...
