And that doesn't slightly concern you? I would like it if these lawmakers were making sure everything within reason is covered. Warbirds arnt a small oversight, they are a big part of yearly flying displays. THis goes down to incompetance or lazyness if thats the excuse they want to use. Your choice as to which. ::)

Of course it concerns me. This is one reason I'm against a Federal Europe. However, in this case there is a clause in the directive that could apply to Sally B & other aircraft affected by the ruling. I haven't read it properly but it seems obviously directed at commercial passenger aircraft. I could be wrong but I think if the correct department was to be approached in the right manner it's quite possible this could be resolved. What I think it needs is for the warbird owners & operators to get together & present their case properly to the appropriate authorities.
