Although I purchase various fresh vegetables every day, (meaning that I have to go shopping every day!)....it is actually more economical to purchase bagged, frozen vegetables of various kinds, which can be stored, and cooked as required!
I doubt that there is any loss in the "goodness" of frozen vegetables over fresh vegetables.
A typical example are Peppers; (red, green, and orange), which I use to add colour to my daily vegetable display, it is infinitely more economical to purchase a large bag of ready sliced, mixed, frozen Peppers, rather than purchase them whole, as a red, green, and orange variety!
The same goes for Cauliflower and Broccoli...more economical bagged and frozen!
But having said that, I can spend hours? trawling through the fresh vegetable section at the market, or supermarket, observing the different shapes and colours.......of the vegetables, as well as the folks shopping there...

Every day is a surprise...what am I going to have for Dinner today!...

Paul....pass me a carrot, shaken, not stirred!.....
