jime is right, I have both. Mega is photoreal, so if you like to fly low and slow, it won't look as good. ORBX scenery is a combination of some photoreal and normal texturing.
In my opinion, ORBX is the absolute best scenery available at this time. I would also suggest PFJ and NRM as they butt up to PNW seamlessly. And then there is FSAddon's
Tongass Fjords. It is almost exactly like ORBX, as it was made by Holger Sandmann and others, and it butts up to PFJ seamlessly. I have PNW, PFJ, NRM, and CRM and fully
intend to add SRM and Southern California when released. I also have all the ORBX airports for these areas and I am completely satisfied with the products. And I have all
of Australia, but have yet to add any airports. For all around flying, you can't beat ORBX.
And no, I am not affiliated with ORBX in any way, other than being a member of their forums so I can get tech support if needed and learn about new products in the works.
I took so long to type this, Chuck's post showed up after I hit save. But he is right also. But I use FSWidgets GMap to navigate by, so the lack of landmarks doesn't bother me.
Mega looks really great from high altitudes, but I spend most of my time below 2500' AGL.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
