Fly By Wire technology is not supposed to endager lives, either. So when I cannot land the aircraft safely, then there is a problem.

You have just identified the problem, you cannot fly a perfectly modelled aircraft.

Blaming the aircraft for your own short-comings

In any case, the flight computers can always be disconnected, and the plane will fly just like a Boeing, just a little bit more reactive.
The challenge is to learn to fly this beast without triggerring the computer emergency procedures.

You think there's a problem with the fly-by-wire, but in fact it's more like the fly-by-wire has a problem with your way of landing.

OHHH!!!
Ok that makes sooo much more sense. That's a REALLY good way to put it. Thanks!

To every one else: I will post the results of my test flight within the hour that this message was posted...

Stay tuned!

In real life fly-by-wire is generally a very good thing and helps minimize the loads on the pilot in the way of trim, and also allows the aircraft to be flown at the edge of the envelope without exceeding it. However, I find the fly-by-wire simulation in the MSFS A321 is highly unrealistic and best results for myself were obtained with it disabled all-together.

Try using lots of trim and also being very smooth with your joystick inputs. Be careful not to over correct either.

IT WORKED!

The Issue has been resolved. By clicking the switches on the overhead panel, I successfully deactivated the Fly-By-Wire computer and believe me, it flies like a fighter!!! (Well, maybe not that good...) ;D

CASE CLOSED!

Well congratulations on the successful operation; you've now neutered the Airbus so it behaves like a Boeing...

BTW, I actually do not like the Airbus myself. I prefer aircraft that require a pilot, not a computer operator...  ;D

Actually, you should NOT be inputting manual trim at all; let the system do that for you...

I found the auto-trim not accurate enough which lead to the aircraft always wanting to climb or descend. Maybe it was my joystick however the problem was solved by manually trimming..
