Loooks like a result. Always glad to help when I can. ;)

would work?

Highly unlikely. It depends on the aircraft. They would all need investigating separately. I was lucky with this one.

It always helps to know which files you're having problems with.

for future reference;

in the aircraft config file under "[flight_tuning]"

try adding the following line if its not already there

torque_on_roll = 0.3

this is from a piper cub, higher values = higher torque effect

Hi Everyone!

The easiest way to make an aircraft in FSX more manageable to fly especially aircraft like the P51 Mustang. Is to open the aircraft.cfg file and changing the values for p_factor_on_yaw, torque_on_roll, gyro_precession_on_yaw, gyro_precession_on_roll. By default these values are set to 1.0 most of the time. By decreasing the value on these variables you will decrease the effect in FSX.

Example: To reduce the yaw effect to an aircraft that has lots of torque to 50% when taking off. Set p_factor_on_yaw=0.50 . Now if you want to eliminate it completely set p_factor_on_yaw=0.0 .

Each one of the other variables would be changed in the same way.

Hope this helps!

Hi Anthindelahunt!

I should of added, if the above variables are not there then simple add them to the aircraft.cfg file under the heading [flight_tuning].

Here is an example:

[flight_tuning]
cruise_lift_scalar = 1.0
parasite_drag_scalar = 1.0
induced_drag_scalar = 1.0
elevator_effectiveness = 1.0
aileron_effectiveness = 1.0
rudder_effectiveness = 1.0
pitch_stability = 1.0
roll_stability = 1.0
yaw_stability = 1.0
elevator_trim_effectiveness = 1.0
aileron_trim_effectiveness = 1.0
rudder_trim_effectiveness = 1.0
p_factor_on_yaw = 0.0
torque_on_roll = 0.0
gyro_precession_on_yaw = 0.0
gyro_precession_on_roll = 0.0

Thanks, Krispy1001 ^-^

I have tried your suggestions Krispy but no luck.
I tried the default P-51 and it still pulls to the left.

Thanks for trying. I will try other suggestions later.

Hi Anthindelahunt!

I am very surprised, because that is how I setup my aircraft so they are more enjoyable to fly. Have you tried to change your FSX realism that deals with P-factor, Torque, Gyro? If not set them to a lower level and it will effect all planes globally.

Thanks, Krispy1001 ^-^
