There are a couple of things that you can do
You can install the taxi gauge from avsim this helps a lot
You can also alter the aircraft cfg file to apply more brake pressure This is a little tricky.
If you are using FSUIPC I have found that this somehow can effect turbopros and the way they taxi. I am not sure why or how but all I know is I had this problem I removed FSUPIC and the problem went away. I did not change any thing else. I have FSUIPC installed now and I have the same problem. I can not remove FSUIPC right now because I am currently involved in BOTA (BATTLE OF THE AIRLINES). But rest assured once I finish FSUPIC will byte the dust.
