Hi Andrea and welcome to SimV!

Your question is not very clear as English is obviously your second language but I think I know what you mean.

You can adjust the ILS 'beam' by useing an AFCAD editor. The best one is a program called AFCAD 2.21 for FS2004 by Lee Swordy. It's available for download from the main site> http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities1.htm

Don't forget, professional Pilots always switch their Autopilot off, and fly the aircraft manually down to the runway, making corrections to any changes in wind strength, direction, etc....

It's something I always do in the Simulator...its good practice!...;)...!

Also remember that as in real life, in MSFS some of the ILS headings are not aligned precisely with the runway, which is why you generally have to turn off the autopilot after reaching the inner marker and make manual adjustments as required.
Personally, I thinking learning to land is easier than learning to use AFCAD.   ;)   ;D

...LOL... ;D...!

In practice, I generally find that if the Autopilot is left on, I find my aircraft  is either heading nose up skywards, or heading nose down into the runway, with the Elevator Trim Wheel against the stop in either direction... :o...!

My trick is to turn off the Autopilot well before reaching the airfield, and RE-TRIM the aircraft manually, slightly nose-up, (Watch the trim Wheel), for a gentle flare on landing (This will also help you to slow down).
When switching the AP off, the Trim Wheel will mostly be in the wrong position...driving you either skywards, or downwards!

Paul.....Trim?....or short back and sides?... ::).... ;D...!

Hi Andrea......Try this...... get AFCAD 2.21 as Simon suggested and open the relevant airport....select  View then Navaids and check if the GREEN arrow (feather) is lined up exactly with the centre line of the runway...if NOT then choose the select tool (arrow) and drag that green thing into line with the centre line of the runway.......save the changes and there you go.......commoner ;)

Also keep in mind that there are some airports out there with purposely offset localizer beams....
(I know at least one of the runways at JFK is like that...)
Manual landings are most people's preferred method, but keep in mind, in case you ever want to try something different, that on some of the more complex FS autopilots, even using the default autopilot engine, they can take you all the way down to touchdown. (You have to be careful with the throttle settings though to make the landing go smoothly...)

EDIT: Oh, I see that "rottydaddy" took care of the explanation on the offset beams.

..mmm...FS9 has that as 22R....is that the same in real life or just an FS9 mistake?....if so why would they want to PURPOSELY offset the localizer?

..........commoner :-?

Don't forget the effect of a crosswind if you have weather enabled. Depending on the strength of the wind, you can be way off centre as you cross the threshold.

...yet another good/practical reason for switching the Autopilot OFF, well before reaching the Threshold, and flying the aircraft down manually to counteract any adverse flying conditions!...;)...!

...if the plane is blown a bit off the ILS localiser then wouldn't the autopilot compensate?...and will someone please tell me why the localizer would be DELIBERATELY set off the runway?.........and also in conditions when the runway is not visible (it happens) if you can't trust the ILS to be on the runway then what do you do ...apart from brown your trousers..........commoner :o ;D

Hi Comm.... :)...!

Being a VFR sort of Pilot, always flying General Aviation Props, (none of that fancy, fly-by-wire, jet propelled, Cigar-Tube stuff!), if the Runway was not visible, Air Traffic Control would seriously wonder why I was flying anyway, and divert me to a more suitable Airfield...for a good-old roasting!... :-[...!

..But it is a fact, that in all my GA Aircraft, I always switch the Autopilot OFF well before reaching the Threshold, and fly the aircraft down manually...AP off....wheels down...re-trim...
...most/all of my on-line, General Aviation, Multiplayer Chums do the same..;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

General Aviation Trainers....a good way to learn the intricacies of Radio Navigation first.... :)....!

Commoner, some fields have hills and other obstacles that would be in front of the localizer, so the ILS beam would be offset by a few dozen degree, just look at PAJN or VHHX.

thanks for the input lads.........but still don't see the reason for having an ILS beam if it's not accurate...hills or no hills :-/  if it's too dangerous don't have it at all IMO...and  Fozz. fog and other nasty stuff can come down any old time and leave you short on fuel to get to other airfields which also could be fog bound.......commoner :-/

...Oh and FS9 doesn't seem to have ILS at PAJN or VHHX. ;)
